Maternity Session What to Expect
Your maternity session will take place at our home studio. The studio is white & bright, filtering through beautiful soft natural light and offers complete privacy for your intimate shoot. Once you have booked with us we will discuss if your partner or other children will be included in your maternity session. We will also send through a style guide with tips on what to wear and how to coordinate family outfits. We do offer a small selection of maternity dresses / fabrics that is included in your session, however we feel that bare is best to show off your bump!
We plan our workflow before hand, according to who will be participating in your maternity session, to ensure a relaxed and natural flow of maternity poses. If you are one of those mamma's who never know what to do with their hands, don't worry, we've got you! We will guide you into body compositions that are flattering so there is no need to stress about posing! Once you are in position, we allow and prompt you to just enjoy and be present in the moment. This is really were the magic happens as those beautiful natural expressions unfold.
After your session you will receive your photo selections via email on an online gallery within 1-2 days. From there you will view and select your favorites that will go through to editing. Your final gallery will be delivered digitally within 1 - 2 weeks after your maternity session. You can purchase extra images or upgrade to our digital plus, treasure or display packages at any time after your session. We can also customize a print package according to your needs.
What to Bring?
Please come ready in hair and make-up to the extent that you are comfortable with.
Please make sure to bring a nice pair of underwear in white, black, or skin tones for the photoshoot. A section of your underwear may show as we focus on capturing your bare baby bump.
